TAKING LECTURE NOTE 
(EFFECTIVE NOTE-TAKING SYSTEM) 💬📝

Today, our lecture is given by Puan Rozita, Miss Suria and Sir Ahmad Faris.

They are also my lecturer that will collect our assignment and will guide us to do our assignments



After that, we were  divided to 24 groups that contains 7/8 persons each group for group assignment.


WHAT IS NOTE TAKING?  ⚡

• Writing down ideas from lectures and readings in my own words (rephrasing)

WHY NOTE TAKING? ❓❔❓❔

• Help us pay attention
• Help us study for quiz, test/final exam
• Help us improve our memory
• Help us take ownership of idea
• Help us engage our sense
• Help us organize , process data and information
• Help the lecturers test students on how well the captured the given information

WHY REVIEW NOTE?📃📄📝

• We lose 80% of what we hear if it is not reviewed within few hour.
• Identify any questions for peers, the next class or ask the lecturer
• There is not enough time to absurb all the information given in class if it is not reviewed on a regular basic.
• Think "If i were failed on this lecture tomorrow, would I ace it?"

HOW TO PREPARE FOR CLASS?📐📏📌

• Do pre-reading and homework
• Revise syllybus
• Review previous notes
• Look up for key word🔑
• Leave some space to add indormation later
• Plan to listening about 80%
• Review the notes before the day before
• Write the dates of paper for notes

PHYSICAL FACTOR🙌🙋

• SEATING = (Front or centre for best vision and hearing) 👂👀
• AVOID DISTRACTION = (Doorways, window glare)

WHILE TAKING NOTES

• Be an aggressive, not a passive
• Ask question and discuss
• Jot the question at notes
• Seek out the meaning
