There is 6 F.

At The End, we learn that we have to:
  • FOCUS
  • ACCURATE
  • ALERT
  • CAREFUL
  • PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT (OPINION)

LEARNING PYRAMID

WHY PEOPLE MORE CLEVER THAN OTHER CREATURES?

  • Human are the best creature
  • Human brain is 3x big than gorilla brain๐Ÿ’๐Ÿต
  • Memory

WHAT IS IN THE HUMAN BRAIN ?

BRAIN ANALYZED.

  • Imbasan Magnetic Reasoning Imaging (MRI)
  • Can measure the activity of electrons of the brain and the function of certain parts is identified.

KNOW YOUR BRAIN✈๐Ÿก

  1. In life, our brain manage hundred data on every second
  2. Our brain transmitting data message with speed to 250 km an hour, using trillion cell network
  3. In consciouness, brain can generate 25 watt electric that enough to turn on a bulb
  4. Flies have 100,000 brain cells, rats have 5,000,000 brain cells, monkeys have 10,000,000 brain cells and human have 100,000,000,000 brain cells.
  5. Total capasity for right brain are 100 x than left brain,Some people only use 3% , 97% saved on the right brain on part conscious.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAN AND WOMAN BRAIN ?

MEMORY VS BRAIN
MEMORY > Individual ability for keep, defend and recall any information and experience. (Computer Software)

BRAIN > Organ (Computer Hardware)

COMPUTER ANALOGY
  • Encoding / input (computer- keyboard, camera ; Human : the 5 senses ears, mouth, nose, skin, eyes

  • Storage ( computer - hard disk , thumb drive' Human : 3 types of memory (SM, STM LTM)

  • Retrieval/ output (computer- computer screen, printer; Human : writing talking

MEMORY
  1. Human memory system divided into three things, which is Sensory Memory (SM), Shor-term Memory (STM) and Long-term Memory (LTM)

THE STORAGE ( RETAIN INFORMATION)

SENSORY MEMORY
๐Ÿ’œMemory related to storing temporary information that carried by sensory ( 5 sensory)
๐Ÿ’œTemporary
๐Ÿ’œIf the information is important, the information will go through to Short-term Memory (STM)
๐Ÿ’œ If not important, the information will lose immediately.

SHORT-TERM MEMORY (STM)

๐Ÿ’ขSTM is a process which can make the information received and kept in short time which is between 30 seconds - 24 hours. Memory from SM
๐Ÿ’ขThis happen because of the charge to keep the information is limited. Some of the information in short term system will go through long-term memory if the information is keep repeating and  convergence
๐Ÿ’ขThe information that kept in STM will erase.

LONG-TERM MEMORY

๐Ÿ’ฃ LTM means memory of an information over a long time.
๐Ÿ’ฃThe truth is, every information that kept in this system will permanent until the person is die, but it depends on the ability of a person to recall the information from the storage warehouse

RECALL
= Weakness to recall the information that kept in memory in long term is synonym with ''lupa''
= Genius people and who have outstanding memory are the people can recall the information in long term memory. If you want to be genius, brain potential need to be strengthened with stimulate, training and nourishing their brain by using traditional and modern method.

Memory Strategies
๐Ÿ˜ผWhat strategy do you use to remember the colour of the rainbow?
๐Ÿ˜ผIf do you not have smartphone or pen and paper, what strategy do use to remember your friends phone number?

HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR STRATEGY

  1. Massed practice vs speed practice
  2. Break reading material down
  3. Rehearsal
  4. Elaboration Strategies
  5. Mnemonics
  6. Imagery - Visualize the image o the information needed
  7. Organizational Strategies - Mind Map

FORGET AND REMEMBER

Why easily forget ?
-Disturbance
-Concentration
- Time factor

Easily to remember if ....
-Interest
-Choice
-Practice
-Repeat

SQ3R - SURVEY-QUESTION-READ-RECITE-REVIEW

READ

- Read the passage for information
-Then, search the answers from the question given. It can help the student stay focused when reading.

RECITE

-Summarise, rephrase the paragraph
- Make short notes or try to remember it
-Remember or memorize important notes
- The greatness in each topic will improve if the thinking improved with revision

REVIEW

- Revision
-Look at the notes again, remember the point
- Remember and memorize the important points
- Remember again the question that we build and try to answers it again. If no revise, try to remember the questions again until the ansers is found.
-Short and clear notes is kept in long-term memory.
